Building on the classic Bolga weaving technique from northern Ghana, we introduced new home designs that are functional and perfect for any corner of your home. Handwoven from elephant grass harvested locally, each basket can take 2 to 3 days to complete including the time required to prepare the material.
Indego Africa is a non-profit organization and lifestyle brand partner with a cooperative of over 1000 women artisans in Ghana & Rwanda. Selling dazzling handmade goods, the company’s profits are reinvested into the artisans communities, by way of leadership, entrepreneurship, financial, business & vocational training courses. Indego Africa believes that educating females is the key to empowerment and change in society.
